    1. Thanks, I love movies in and of themselves but they are a site where many other factors meet, and to me above all they are a means to learn about other things: world history, the other arts, other cultures, etc. Hope that some of my interests are reflected in my writings, and that it might interests others too.

  1. Your articles do indeed cover all those important angles, not just film, in an amazingly good way. You are an informative, eloquent, seriously interesting writer, just keep doing what you do

  2. First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question which I’d
like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head
before writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out
there. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?
    Kudos!

  3. I just force myself to write 15 minutes per day. I have different articles I’m working on at the same time so whichever one I’m inspired to contribute to. Sometimes I also feel inspired to write a whole review in 15 minutes like my latest one on Blind Shaft. But other times it is the cumulative writing that allows the article or review to crystallise over many writing sessions. I can come back to it and see all my previous thoughts and ideas written over many 15-minute sessions, and suddenly it can click and I can finish the piece.
